On Feb 5, my son and I plan to fly to Zurich and stay in Andermatt for 2-3 days then take the train to Geneva or Lyons,France to stay in Val Thorens for 3 days.

Travel time is from Feb5-15. And we prefer to stay in better hotels…and use the train.

Andermatt to Val Thorens is quite a trip. Around 12 hours by train/bus.

    Not a logical trip.
