    Hi Folks,

I’m sure I have read this somewhere before but have searched and can’t find.

Does the Bernina Express Bus bound for Lugano leave from close to the station in Tirano?

Is the location of the bus departure point well sign-posted and easy to find after arriving at Tirano from Chur?

The attached Google map shows the bus (5950/5951) departing from Tirano Stazione with the Ferrovia Retica (Rhätische Bahn) Tirano just to the left. Is it that easy?

Yes it is that easy here in Switzerland 🙂

The timetable for the Bernina Express gives you 5 minutes to connect…they won’t make you run!

Hi Lucas. That’s 5 minutes to run to the bus station then 1:30 to get our breath back. Train arrives 12:45, bus departs 14:20. Plenty of time for a pizza. 😉

It’s that long of a connection for you? It can vary I suppose! Oh well, pizza is always good in southern Switzerland!
