Hi Davidj1,
I don’t know about a pass called “Virgin”. “Jungfrau” means virgin, so it might refer to the Jungfrau region. Where did you find this information? Ski passes can be found on http://www.jungfrau.ch/en/tou rism/travel-information/sportpass/ grindelwald-wengen-20152016/individual-ski-pass/. Which one is best depends on how long you stay and which area you want to include. Basically you can choose the Grindelwald/Wengen area, the Mürren area, or both: the entire Jungfrau region.

Thanks Arno, the info was in German and I clicked “translate” so that explains it! We are there for 6 days from 19th December and will be skiing every day so perhaps the Jungfrau may be best?

Ok, I see, that will get you some pretty confusing text in some cases 🙂 If you like a bit of variety and don’t mind spending a bit of time to take a train to the Mürren area, then yes, the Jungfrau pass for the entire region would be great. Here’s the English price list: http://www.jungfrau.ch/en/tou rism/travel-information/sportpass/ jungfrau-20152016/individual-ski-pass/.
Note that you could theoretically buy a 5 day pass for the Grindelwald area, and a one day or half day pass for the Mürren area. That combination is a bit cheaper, but you won’t be flexible as the 5 days are consecutive.
