Best spot for wild camping in Bernese Oberland?
Marjolein is looking for a good spot for wild camping near Frutigen in the Berner Oberland. They plan to drive about an hour by car and want a location that is not too strenuous to reach, as one member is recovering from an injury. They have researched wild camping rules and are seeking specific advice on suitable camp spots.
- Check local tourist offices in Adelboden or Kandersteg for additional hiking options and wild camping advice.
- Review maps of nature reserve zones to ensure your camping spot is in compliance with local rules.
- Choose a camping area that is easily accessible to accommodate anyone with limited mobility.

Hello,
Does anybody know a good spot for wildcamping in Berner oberland? Preferably not too far from frütigen? We think about driving up to 1 hout by car and then hike and camp.
I was looking up rules for wild camping in Switzerland and ended up at my Swiss alps. I read all rules and we are looking for a spot in Berner oberland that meets these rules. Anyone experience?
1 of us is recovering from an injury, so it would be amazing if its a spot that doesn’t require a too strenious hike.
Thanks a lot!!
Marjolein
