Buying Matterhorn Glacier Paradise tickets with a Swiss Travel Pass
Mikhail is planning to buy return tickets for the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise and the Matterhorn Alpine Crossing using his Swiss Travel Pass Flex. He is confused about the ticketing system, particularly concerning the SwissPass mentioned on the booking site, and seeks guidance on purchasing discounted tickets online and at the station.
- Purchase tickets for Matterhorn Glacier Paradise online from the Swiss Railway website (SBB tourist webshop) to utilize your Swiss Travel Pass discount.
- You cannot buy discounted tickets for the Matterhorn Alpine Crossing online if you don’t have a SwissPass; these must be purchased at a station in Zermatt.
- The Matterhorn Alpine Crossing costs CHF228 return but is reduced to CHF141.50 with a Swiss Travel Pass discount.
