    Hi Gail,

Any luck getting the confirmation now? Have you otherwise checked spam folders etc.?

    Hi Lucas-

For some weird reason, communications from one inn that I use in Switzerland have been dumped into my spam folder for the past two years. Only one. No other. Not before that time. Just in the past two years.

However, it has reminded e to check my spam folder when something does not seem right.

Some Email providers still have issues sorting Spam…you think they would have gotten the algorithm perfect by now. 🙂

I know people who have had their order confirmations never received either (not even in a spam folder, it is just rejected by the email provider).

Lucas and Slowpoke, Yes we did get the email confirmation. They apologized and said they experienced some downtime with their email server. Thanks for all the tips and the airport pdfs. That will be very helpful.

I never know how to respond to two people. Hopefully, you both will see my response!

    Hi Gail –

I saw it. I’ll keep an eye out for Lukas…he is very busy on the form in August. If he does not respond until September, don’t worry. ;-0.

Glad it was helpful. The Swiss provide immense resources for travelers. Finding the best ones is where we can help.

    Hi Gail,

Good to hear all is set. It is indeed busy on the forum this summer! wow. 🙂 I’ll see all posts eventually! Everyone on the thread should get an email notification when someone posts anything.

Great! We also just printed a few copies of our STP pass (as well as copied a picture of it to my phone) so we are all set for September. Thanks again for answering all my questions and more!

    Hi Lucas

I just received 8 days 1st class hard copy Swiss travel pass from rail Europe. I don’t have soft copy with me on my email. My question is, Will my photocopy of my STP card will be valid if I loos my original hard copy pass?

    Hi Radha,

Is your hard copy just a piece of paper with bar code or does it look like more of a “pass”. Photocopies usually are not sufficient though – but it would be better than nothing to be sure.

    Hi Lucas

Thank you for your prompt reply. My pass port does not have a barcode. It just have our name, country name and dates validity and space for us to note down passport information

Do not lose it then. Not that we ever set out to lose something of course. 🙂 Keep it next to your passport. A photocopy probably won’t be accepted. That is why we recommend the email format.

    <<“My pass port”>>

I’m confused. Perhaps you mean your rail pass?
