    Thanks for sharing your travel plans.  Yes, in some ways the car can be quicker (that’s with clear traffic) but for practicality I would recommend traveling by train and the other means of transport (bus, boat) here in Switzerland.  It’s very efficient, comfortable and with the right rail pass, very economical.  Also, there will be no need to look for parking nor pay for parking!
