Day trip from Interlaken to Geneva

I have already booked accommodation in Interlaken for 6 days. My children r keen to see Geneva. Would it be possible to catch an early train to Geneva, do sight seeing there and catch a train back to Interlaken in the evening? Thanks in advance

The quickest connections take about 3 hours one way. It will be a long day but it can certainly be done. Please see here for the timetable, and what to do in Geneva:
