Dears

I have bought 15 days STP Flex for my swiss trip(May 27-Jun20) and will spend 4 nights at Zermatt(jun 5-9). I plan to buy Zermatt 3 days Peak Pass using STP discount of 25%. My question: do i need to validate my STP Flex for the 3 days that i use Peak Pass or just the day that I buy the Peak Pass, or even that i just show the paper certificate of my STP Flex?

To benefit from the 50% discounts on excursion tickets, the Swiss Travel Pass Flex must be valid on the same day you purchase the Zermatt Peak Pass.

Hi Peter!

In other cases in which the Swiss Travel Pass Flex grants a discount on another pass, e.g. the Berner Oberland Pass, the Swiss Travel Pass Flex must be valid on all days of the other pass’s validity: see https://www.myswissalps.com/travel-ticket/berner-oberland-pass/#price. I reckon this is the same with the Peak Pass.

You could contact the Zermatt mountain railways to make sure. You’ll find their e-mail address at https://www.matterhornparadise.ch/.
