  • The earliest train arrives at 6:11, but it's advisable to leave earlier for a smoother journey.
  • Consider an overnight option if you're concerned about timing, but be aware of extra wait times and costs.
  • It might be worth exploring staying overnight closer to the airport for convenience.

    Hello Mac60115,

The earliest normal connection will get you to Zurich Airport at 6:11, which is do-able but quite tight on time I would say, depending on how you travel.

You could take a so-called “night train” on Saturday night, trains which run mainly for people going out on the weekends. This, however, would include quite tome waiting and also costs an extra fair (it’s an extra service). Leaving Lucerne at 2.35 and getting you to the Airport at 5:14 with a 1.5 hour wait in Zurich main station.

I would consider a transfer or maybe staying somewhere closer for the last night?!
