we will only have one day Saturday 6th January. 4 adults and 3 young girls aged 6,6 and 8. I am trying to get a complete itinerary of trains starting around 8.30 from Generva. Is it best to buy a pass or just go for the tickets? If it takes all day that’s fine. The next day, Sunday we have a full morning before our flight back around 3pm. What can we do with the morning and lunch? Peter

    Welcome to MySwissAlps Peter!

Train schedules can be found through myswissalps.com/ timetable. I don’t know of a one day pass that would save money, but you can save money on the children’s tickets through the Junior travelcard. It works within Switzerland, which is the majority of the trip if you travel through Martigny. If you’re in Geneva the next morning you can find suggestions on myswissalps.com/ geneva.

Alternatively you could consider a tour such as this one: http://www.viator.com/tours/G eneva/Chamonix-and-Mont-Blanc/d578-2510KT001. Children get a discount on this tour.
