GENEVA to Paris by TGV
A traveler named PK is planning a day trip from Geneva to Paris using their Swiss Rail Pass. They want to know if the pass is valid for TGV trains and if their Schengen visa allows entry into Paris. Unfortunately, the Swiss Travel Pass does not cover TGV routes, as it is only valid within Switzerland.
- The Swiss Travel Pass is not valid for TGV trains from Geneva to Paris.
- Book TGV tickets early to secure the lowest fares.
- You can have around 10 hours in Paris if you take the first train out and the last train back.

Greetings,
I have a Swiss Rail Pass and have a day free at Geneva. I wanted to know if it’s possible to take TGV from Geneva to Paris and back.
1. Will my Swiss Rail Pass be applicable to use TGV?
2. Will my multiple entry Schengen visa issued for Switzerland valid for visit to Paris?
Regards
PK
