Hello,

I will be traveling from London to Laussane, where I will spend 3 nights on September 20. I will then head to Salzburg and I wanted to do this via Glacier Express.

What is the more efficient way you experts recommend for me to do this? Should I catch a train to Zermat from Laussane and spend the night there?

Can I do it all in one day from Laussanne to St Moritz, spend the night there, and continue on to Salzburg the following day?

I understand the segment by train from St Moritz to Salzburgcan take from 5-6 hrs so I will definitely need to break up the trip.

The trip from Lausanne to Zermatt is about 3 hours and the trip from Zermatt to St. Moritz is about 7.5 hours.

You can do this in one day but it is a long one (and the Glacier Express trains typically leave Zermatt by 09:52am or earlier).
