In addition to seat reservation, you need a 1st class ticket to travel on the GoldenPass Express train in Prestige class.

Thank you for your response Anna, much appreciated.Ā I have checked out both the Swiss Saver Day Pass and a point to point ticket. There is only a couple of $ difference, therefore, as we will actually be catching a train from Geneva to Montreux early in the morning, prior to boarding the Golden Pass Express, the Saver Day Pass seems to be the best option as it fully covers the journey without any need to also purchase a ticket. Do I need to then confirm I have a pass with the company we purchased our Prestige Class seats from, or just turn up on the day and show the Pass?

There is no need to confirm with the train operator that you have a ticket. Just present your Saver Day Pass together with your seat reservation to the ticket controller upon request.
