Anyone stay in Chalet Heiny at Zermatt before? Is it recommended? Good to stay? Hardly to find any review via online. Thanks.

Hi leeeng,
I haven’t heard of it before and indeed there’s not much information available. Hopefully someone else comes across this thread.

The (small) room you have chosen is too expensive! In the “dead” season (April or November) you pay there for one week nearly CHF 700.–. That is too much! The owner has a horse and a coach (carrige). For a small ride with him you pay also too much. You can find at the same time a small apartment with kitchinette, bathroom, a cosy living corner and a table for breakfast, lunch and dinner for about CHF 450.– for one week. You can cook your menus, when you go to the supermarket COOP opposite of the train station, and buy these the prefabricateted menus for about CHF 7.– (for 2 persons) and warm it up in your kitchen.
