Visting Jungfraujoch and Luzern – where to stay

    Hello! My friend and i are planning to visit switzerland for 2 days. We want to go to jungfraujoch and lucerne. How are we gonna plan this trin in terms of where to stay and trains to catch? Thank you.

    Hi charmae,

    You could stay in Luzern (local German spelling) or Interlaken. Interlaken is closer to Jungfraujoch.

    You can enter your train trips on the Swiss railways timetable here to plan your trips.

    Thanks for the reply. Do you think it is possible to visit luzern from interlaken for whole day? And where is the nearest airport from interlaken?

    That trip is about 2 hours, so yes it is possible. The nearest international airports are Basel and Zurich.

    Thank you. Any suggestion where to stay in Luzern? We want the one in the city centre with good view and affordable.
