I have a Swiss Travel Pass (not the GA type). I would like to travel from Geneva to Milano Centrale with the direct train. I couldn’t figure out how to use this pass and buy a ticket only for the Italian part of the trip. The site wants my GA1 or GA2 pass?

    Thank you,

    Yelda

    Hi Yelda,

If you have a Swiss Travel Pass you do not need to pay for the Swiss part of your trip, because the Swiss Travel Pass covers that. Meaning that you need to get your tickets only from the border to Milan. Have a look at http://www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/italy, this will help you.

You can buy your ticket at http://www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/italy/price.

I’ve checked the timetable (http://www.myswissalps.com/timetable) and the direct train I found (goes via Lausanne, Brig etc). crosses the border at Domodossola (I). So buy your ticket from Domodossola (I) to Milan Central.

    I hope this helps,

    Take care,

    Ildiko

    Hello Ildiko,

I just did what you recommended and it worked! Thank you so very much. I feel more confident now.

You are great volunteers. Responses are given right away and correctly. So efficient. You and your friends should be recognized by Swiss Government for representing your country so well. Is there anywhere I can write about your group and give 5 stars?

Thank you and you take care too👏🏻
