Hi DJAustralia and welcome to MySwissAlps!
I think my only comment with a baby is to be careful of going to extreme heights, say over 2000 or 25oo meters. It would be best to consult with your family doctor about this. Otherwise I think you are just limited by what you are comfortable doing with your 10 month old. 🙂
Other members who have traveled with your children may be able to chime in with their thoughts as well.
You may find this website quite helpful as well which was just posted by another member: http://www.momstotszurich.com /.
You can start planning you trip in general by look at our Switzerland Regions page to get an idea of what is offered in Switzerland and what are the best towns to stay in to explore each region.
By far the most popular regions are the Bernese Oberland region and within that, the Jungfrau region. These have the most spectacular mountain attractions that most picture when thinking of Switzerland.
Also be sure to read our “What to do” page to do some research on activities that may interest you and the family.
Once you have read through and have an idea of what you want to see and do, post a rough itinerary and we would be more than happy to help you fine tune it!
