Jungfrau Travel Pass and ski lifts in December
Jan is planning an 8-day ski trip in Grindelwald during late December, focusing on the Jungfrau area. They want to know if the Jungfrau Travel Pass covers all ski areas and if they need to buy separate ski lift tickets. They're also visiting towns and using a Half Fare Card for trips to Zurich, Basel, Bern, and Fribourg.
- The Jungfrau Travel Pass is not available in winter; consider the Jungfrau Hiking and Sledging Pass instead for better access to the area.
- Using the Swiss Half Fare Card will give you a 25% discount on travel in the region.
- For skiing, the Jungfrau Sports Pass is recommended as it provides access to all ski lifts in the area.
- If you're skiing on non-consecutive days, look into daily lift passes or the 7-Day Jungfrau Sports Pass for convenience.

Hi,
We will be spending 8 days based in Grindewald late December and will be doing some skiiing. Our time will be spent entirely in the Jaungfrau area. Question is, if we buy the Jungfrau Travel Pass will this cover access to all the ski areas and only ski lift tickets will be required? Plan to visit various towns in the area too as part of general sightseeting.
We wil also have a Half Fare Card to travel to Zurich twice/Basel/Bern/Fribourg separate to our stay in Grindelwald plus use to visit Schilthorn (we are not going up the top of the Jungrau as have been previously)
Advice appreciated thanks Jan
