    Hi Pbmuthal,

I think there is a self-service laundromat called Waschsalon in Wengen town centre. For exact details you should contact the local tourism office or your hotel.

Alternatively, you can try the Waschsalon in Interlaken: washsaloon.jimdofree.com/english/

We are in Wengen today (May 30) doing our laundry. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers. The cost is 5chf in coins only. Small washer size but adequate.

the facility is located next to the town center tennis courts

Thanks ScottinSC. That is a great relief. Is it crowded?

We arrived at 9:45 am and one washer was in use already. The facility opens at 8:00 am and closes at 10:00 pm

I would guess the earlier the better.

If you are staying at a hotel, you may want to check to see if laundry service or facilities are available there. We are staying at Hotel Alpenrose and they do provide laundry service. I’m sure it will be somewhat expensive, but I like the idea of not losing any of our vacation time laundering clothes!
