Hi, I am planning to visit Interlaken, grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and Wengen during first week of July 2019. Can I expect lush green sceneries in and around these places during this time of the year? Regards,Shajid

Yes. Had you come this year in July you’ll have seen lush green sceneries. Next year, who knows. It depends (in part) of the weather in the previous weeks. In part, because some fields are watered.

Hi Shajid,

You can visit places at various altitudes for different scenery/flora. Hopefully it won’t be extremely dry next year like it was this year. You’ll have plenty of choice then.

Hi Shahjid –

The attached photo was taken in late June in 2004 or maybe 2006. Photoshop made the greens and reds a bit more potent than reality, but you can see plenty of green.

Also, plenty of rocks, which never become green. 😉

The highest peak is the Jungfrau.
