Hi everyone,

I am traveling to Switzerland in the summer by a rental car for five days. My understanding is that Swiss Travel Pass will not help me much since I have a care ! True ?

Second, if I pay online will it save me money or is it the same price I could pay at the attraction desk cashier when I arrive. For example I if buy the Golden pass for Pilatus online. Do I pay more if I buy it when I arrive at the Kriens and board the Gondola to start my Trip ( I intend to do the trip opposite starting at Kriens )

Park my car Kriens, gondola, cable car, cogwheel, boat to Lucerne and then back by buy to car park

Nevertheless, the answer to your question is that you DON’T need a Swiss Travel Pass if you’re travelling by car, however I recommend you read:

If you have to travel by car for some reason then the Swiss Half Fare Card could be of use, however, it depends strongly on what you’re planning.

Hello,

At the risk of sounding very dumb I am going to ask some very basic questions…please forgive me.

My family are spending 4 days 3 mights in Interlaken. We would like to do the following activities:

1. one scenic rail tour, if possible to Jangfraujoch,

2. Visit The Top of Europe

3. Do a cable car trip.

We will have a rental car so we don’t need rail passes for travelling. I can’t work out what I need to purchase for the above activities. Can somebody please help PLEASE? Thank you in advance~
