I will be traveling through Zurich in a week on my way to Basel. I plan to purchase a point to point ticket from Zurich to Basel with a Zurich city supplement. What area/zone does the supplement cover? One of my planned stops will be in Kilchberg and I cannot figure out if the supplement will cover that area.

Also, I will have to put a time in for the point to point although I am unsure what time my group (4) will want to go to Basel. Can I ride any time that day after I purchase my ticket?

If you need to reach Kilchberg,  a city supplement won’t be sufficient. You’ll need to purchase an additional zone ticket.
