Regional Pass Lake Geneva, travel to/from airport
A traveler is arriving at Geneva airport on a Saturday and leaving the following Saturday. They want to know if a return ticket purchased using their 7-day Regional pass will still be valid for their return journey to Renens. They are looking for the most cost-effective way to travel to and from the airport.
- A Swiss return ticket is only valid for one day, so separate tickets for your airport transfers are needed.
- Purchase a half-price return ticket on your arrival day if using a discounted travel day with your Regional pass.
- On your departure day, you'll need to buy a full-fare ticket unless a cheaper Supersaver ticket is available.

I am arriving at Geneva airport on a Saturday and leaving on the following Saturday. If I use my 7 day Regional, pass on arrival to purchase a half price return train ticket to my holiday destination at Renens would a return ticket still be valid for my return journey the following Saturday?
If not, what would be the most cost effective way to journey to and from the airport?
Many thanks
