    Hi WCHE,

There are various restaurants in Tirano and it is also a nice little town to explore on foot. Perhaps someone on the forum who has been to Tirano can provide some personal insights.

    Regards,

    Anna

LIke everywhere, just look on online mapping sites and you will see plenty of eating places. Tirano is a typical Italian town with bars and cafes where you can eat.

However you can also stay a shorter time in Tirano if you get the right train to Tirano

    Hi WHCE,

I’m not sure if you’ve made Bernina Express train reservations yet? If not, you could consider getting a different train with better connections to the bus in Tirano. The bus leaves Tirano at 14:20. If you catch the Bernina Express that leaves Chur at 08:32 / Pontresina at 10:22, you’ll be in Tirano by 12:49. That’s about 1,5 hours of waiting time, which is a good timeframe to have lunch.
