Traveling with the Saver Day Pass and children
A traveler named Harmonicpian is planning a trip and wants to buy a 3-Day Swiss Travel Pass Flex and a Saver Day Pass for the Glacier Express. They are uncertain about ticket options for their children, aged 11 and 12, wondering if the Junior Travel Card can be used or if the One-Day travel pass for children can be purchased instead.
- If you have a valid Swiss Travel Pass Flex, your children can travel for free using the Swiss Family Card which comes with it.
- Consider buying a 4-day Swiss Travel Pass Flex instead, as it may be cheaper than adding Saver Day Passes for your children.
- The Swiss Travel Pass Flex offers free entrance to many museums only on travel days, so plan accordingly.

I plan to buy 3-Day Swiss Pass Flex and then plan to buy a Saver Day Passes for the Glacier Express portion. By checking the Saver Day Passes, I realized that my children aged 11 and 12 will have to pay the same rate as adult if I purchased all for Saver Day Passes . I am wondering since they have Junior Travel Card, can they use Junior Travel Card during the journey? Alternatively, Can they use One-Day travel pass for children for CHF 16 daily?
Thanks in advance for all the responses.
