Hi, i bought my Swiss Half fare card recently. I would like to register a user acc in SBB mobile app. One option is to select SwissPass. But this option need me to enter a10 digits customer number. My soft copy ticket doesn’t have it. Another option is to select no customer number. Under this option, after key in name, DOB and address, when click next button, error shows:

An unexpected error has occurred. Please try again later.

How can i register an acc in SBB mobile?

    Thank you

    Hi Chin Lin,

It is possible to purchase discounted tickets online from the SBB mobile app without a log-in or sign-in. But if you have an account, you can purchase tickets without having to enter your personal details and payment method each time. To create a profile on SBB mobile, first you need to create a SwissPass account online (this is possible even without a SwissPass card).

You can find further details on how to use the Swiss Half Fare Card here: http://www.myswissalps.com/swisshalffarecard/howtouse

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Anna

    Hi Chin Lin,

You don’t need a SwissPass. This is an account mostly used by the Swiss themselves: http://www.myswissalps.com/train/ticketspasses/practical/swisspass.

Nor do you have to add/register your Swiss Half Fare Card to the SBB app. In many cases, you even can’t do so. All you need is your Swiss Half Fare Card pdf, either on your mobile or printed on paper, plus 50% discounted tickets. These can be bought through the app without registration, as Anna explained, but also through other options: https://www.myswissalps.com/traintickets/switzerlandhalffare.
