When we went up the Stanserhorn in June 2018 a couple of people played alphorns in the restaurant during the afternoon. I don’t know if this a regular occurrence.
Various villages hold music festivals during the summer. We went to one in Wengen the same year.

There are daily Alphorn shows on Schynige Platte in the summer. The show takes place between 11 am to 2pm at the summit station (next to the mountain hotel).

Since I’m not a skier, I like going in September since the weather is usually nicer. As such, I pretty much have resigned myself to the fact that most festivals have already taken place, so it’s nice to know I can catch an Alphorn concert in Sept, and I’m looking forward to it. Thanks again.
