5 days July trip: how best to plan my Bernese Oberland itinerary?

Short summary – read this first

Teo is planning a trip to the Swiss Alps from July 6 to 12, focusing on places like Brienzer Rothorn, Grindelwald, and Lauterbrunnen. They need help figuring out how to divide their five days and the best ways to reach their destinations. Their flight is to and from Basel.

Key takeaways:
  • Stay in either Grindelwald or Wengen as a base for day trips to explore the Jungfrau region.
  • Consider using the Swiss Travel Pass for flexible travel between destinations.
  • Combine visits to nearby locations like Lauterbrunnen, Mürren, and Gimmelwald for a more efficient itinerary.

    Hi guys,

I’m going to visit the Swiss alps (6-12 July) and I was wondering if you can help me with the plan.
In general I want to visit Brienzer rothorn, Grindelwald (first mountain cart), Lauterbrunnen, Wengen, Murren, Gimmelwald.
Unfortunately I have no idea how to split the days, if 5 full days are enough, if they are other things to visit, how to reach them etc.

P.S my flight is to/from Basel.

    Thanks,
    Teo
