Swiss Half Fare Card, where to buy from?
Irliana is planning a 3-day trip in Switzerland and wants to buy the Swiss Half Fare Card, but she's confused about the price differences she found online. She noticed a price of CHF 185 on the SBB CFF site and CHF 120 on Swissrailways.com and is seeking confirmation on the actual price.
- Purchase the Swiss Half Fare Card from Swissrailways.com for CHF 120 instead of SBB CFF, as SBB shows prices for residents.
- You can break your trip with the Swiss Half Fare Card when traveling within the same day.
- It's more convenient to buy the Swiss Half Fare Card online so you can print it at home and avoid queues at ticket offices.

Good day,
I wanted to purchase the Swiss Half Fare Pass for 3 days travelling in Switzerland. I surveyed the price via the SBB CFF online ticket shop but i noticed that the price quoted is CFH185. I compared the price with the Swissrailways.com, the price is CHF120.
Of course i’ld prefer the lower price but my concern is the price might me outdated or i might missed any any additional cost, hence the price diff with the SBB CFF web.
Appreciate if anyone could kindly assist to confirm which is the actual price?
Thank you in advance!
Cheers!
