Worth having Jungfrau Travel Pass, discount with Swiss Travel Pass?
A traveler named Nat is staying in Grindelwald with a partner and plans to visit Gimmelwald, Jungfrau, and the First Cliff Walk over three days. They are confused about the best and most cost-effective transport options and whether to buy the Swiss Travel Pass or another card for their travels.
- Drive to Stechelberg for Gimmelwald and take the cable car, but consider public transport for convenience and to avoid parking fees.
- The Swiss Half Fare Card might be a good option for discounts on public transport as it offers 50% off and lasts for one month.
- For the Jungfrau region, the Swiss Travel Pass offers limited coverage, but it could provide a 25% discount on the Jungfrau Travel Pass if purchased together.

I am staying in Grindelwald (with a car if that helps) and there is 2 of us.
We are planning to go to Gimmelwald, Jungfrau and do the First Cliff Walk in Grindelwald on 3 separate days. I am trying to work out the most cost effective way to travel to these places and what discount advantages there is.
For Gimmelwald, is it better to drive to Stechelberg Car Park and then get the Cabel Car up and down? Does the Swiss Travel Card work on this? Not sure if its cost effect for us get the Swiss Travel Card for this one day?
For Jungfrau and First Cliff Walk, is it more cost effect to get the Jungfrau 3 day Travel Pass for these 2 days? Also, does the Swiss Travel Card give you discount on the Jungfrau Travel Pass.
Is there a better way to do all this?
As you can tell I have got myself very confused and stressed out over hours of research, please help!
