Swiss Travel Pass – Zurich to Paris by TGV Lyria
A traveler named Ashish is planning a trip from Zurich to Paris with his 6-year-old child and is seeking clarification on using the Swiss Travel Pass for Lyria train tickets. He wants to understand the concept of passholder fares and whether he can obtain a Junior Card for his child while traveling from India.
- To use the Swiss Travel Pass for a train from Zurich to Paris, buy a ticket for the Basel to Paris segment only, as the journey from Zurich to Basel is included in the pass.
- You do not need to purchase a Junior Card, as your child can travel for free with the Swiss Family Card when you buy a Swiss Travel Pass.

Hi All,
1) I have read that with Swiss travel pass, one has to pay only pass holder fares for Zurich to Paris Travel on Lyria trains. What is this pass holder fare and how to get it on online apps like Omio.com and trainline.com?
2) what is Junior card? I am traveling from India, Am I eligible to get it for my 6 year old kid?
thanks in advance!
