Swiss Travel Passes for 2024 are now available
A traveler shares that Swiss Travel Passes and Swiss Half Fare Cards for 2024 can now be ordered through the SBB Switzerland Travel Centre, but prices are slightly higher than in 2023. They also provide money-saving tips, especially regarding payment methods and exchange rates.
- Order your Swiss Travel Pass early for trips starting in 2024 to avoid higher prices later.
- Pay in Swiss francs to potentially save money based on current exchange rates.
- Keep an eye on the price fluctuations of travel passes, as they can change based on the exchange rate.

Hi travelers,
As of today, Swiss Travel Passes and Swiss Half Fare Cards for next year can be ordered via the SBB Switzerland Travel Centre: https://shop.switzerlandtravelcentre.com/#/en/home
Swiss Travel Pass prices are slightly higher than in 2023. This applies to passes with a start date from 1 January 2024, regardless if you buy in 2023 or 2024. You’ll find more details here: http://www.myswissalps.com/forum/topic/swiss-travel-pass-price-increase-2024. And also in the price tables here:

Note that if you purchase passes for a trip that starts in 6 months or later, you’ll receive them at the 6-month mark. They can’t be issued earlier.
My tips to save money: pay in Swiss francs, and keep an eye on the exchange rate to your home currency. Even the cheaper passes are about USD 10 cheaper today than they were 2 months ago, for example, purely because of the exchange rate. More tips are here: http://www.myswissalps.com/swissfranc
