The AT&T International Day Pass in Switzerland?
A traveler is wondering about using the AT&T International Day Pass while hiking in the Swiss Alps, especially for consistent cell service or internet access. They are planning to visit multiple mountain tops and want to ensure connectivity during their trip. Renting mobile internet is also a consideration for them.
- The AT&T International Day Pass generally works well in Switzerland, even at high altitudes and in valleys.
- Hiking may cause brief interruptions in service, but access is typically reliable.
- Consider renting mobile internet if you want more options, but many find the International Day Pass sufficient.

Just wandering if anybody has traveled to Switzerland using International Day pass with AT&T? I have used it in Europe with no problems but wandering how well it works in the Alps. We are doing a lot of Mountain Tops and some hiking so want to make sure I have cell service or internet. Is it easier to rent the mobile Internet? Thank you for all your help.
