Tickets to Jungfraujoch price difference
Lucy is planning a trip to Jungfraujoch and is confused about the ticket prices she found on different websites. She noticed a price difference, with the official Jungfrau website quoting 214 CHF for a round trip from Grindelwald Terminal while the SBB website lists it for 190 CHF, and she's seeking clarification on whether the higher price includes additional benefits. She's also trying to decide if a Swiss Travel Pass or a half-fare card would be worth it for her travel plans.
- Compare ticket prices on both the official Jungfrau site and the SBB website, as they can vary slightly.
- Consider purchasing separate tickets for one-way journeys if you plan to hike from Eigergletscher to Alpiglen.
- Explore the benefits of the Swiss Travel Pass or the half-fare card to make the best choice for your trip.

Hi all,
I have a question about tickets to Jungfraujoch.
On the official website, it says a round-trip from Grindewald Terminal is 214 CHF without discount or seat reservation.
However, when using the sbb website, the same round trip is 190 CHF without discount or seat reservation.
The difference also exists for the half-fare card 107/95.
Am I missing something, as in, is there a special reason why the tickets in the Jungfraujoch website is more expensive – such as entry to certain points? Would it not matter if I bought the tickets through the sbb website?
As a side note, I noticed this during my process of figuring out whether the travel pass or half-fare card would be worth it.
The official Jungfrau website only seems to sell round trips, and since we are planning on taking the cablecar Grindewald-Jungfraujoch then back only to Eigergletscher so we can hike to Alpiglen, I decided to look at the sbb site for one-way tickets.
Thank you in advance for any help!
Lucy
