I’m staying a week in Interlaken area for 7 days and will take a train to Milan

If I have the Bernise Overland pass

Can I take a train from Spiez to Domidosola for free using Swiss Railway?

Then another train from Domodosola to Milan via Train Italia?

Please advise best option

Hi Roberto,

Here’s the coverage map for the Berner Oberland Pass.  If you download and view, you’ll see that all the solid red lines are your train routes that are included.

For your trip Interlaken-Milan, that’s right, you can take a train from Spiez to Domodossola.  This is included with the Berner Oberland Pass. So you’ll just need to buy a ticket Domodossola-Milan.  More information and some online purchase options for your Italian sector in the below link:

Hi Roberto,

Be sure to take the BLS train from Spiez to Domodossola that travels over the mountain via Kandersteg. This train is also known as the Lotschberger mountain railway (https://www.myswissalps.com/activity/lotschberg-mountain-railway/). The Berner Oberland Pass is not valid on fast trains that travel through the Löschberg base tunnel.
