    Hi

We are a family of four hoping to visit the Interlaken area next July. We are trying to keep costs down and instead of flying from London to Zurich and buying a Swiss rail pass I am looking into a global interail pass using Eurostar and stopping en route for more of an adventure. Has anyone travelled through Switzerland with the Interail card? Are there any train restrictions I should bear in mind? What would be the best travel option once in Switzerland in terms of reductions on ferries and scenic train routes etc which I think you get with the Swiss rail card? The Swiss rail is great but we probably would have to buy the eight days and we would like to travel for about 10-12 days. The inter rail card offers that flexibility and seems quite good value.

look forward to any ideas Thanks!
