    Update:

Thankfully I was able to secure accommodation in St Gallen for the first 4 nights of my trip. No border crossing! This will make daily travel much more convenient as the station here seems well connected.

I also found another awesome looking attraction in the area that has caught my eye: Chaserrugg. Just over an hour from St Gallen. Can’t believe how many places I was not aware of prior to posting here including the Engadin. Apparently I’ve been living under a rock!

    Can’t wait to visit:)

    Hi RJC,

    Your trip will be terrific.

If you manage to make it to Chäserrugg, prepare to be mesmerised by stunning views here.  Lots of hiking trails here to be enjoyed too, as well as views of Lake Walensee.

    Kind regards,

    Yolanda
