Hello
We are taking the Goldenpass from Interlaken to Montreux staying in Montreux for 2 days. Next leg of the trip is Montreux to Annecy. We are considering renting a car for this and keeping it for the 3 days in Annecy to do day trips. (Staying at a place 20 minutes outside of Annecy) Questions: Is the drive from Montreux to Annecy stressful? difficult? is it all highway driving with no scenery stops? We are happy and enjoy making stops for a view/ or a small hike/ cafe/ small villages. (we did this for 2 weeks in New Zealand through the mountains and also through the Western Canada rockies, so we are ok with this type of driving) Not sure if we should take the train from Montreux to Annecy and rent a car in Annecy?
Any suggestions are helpful!
Thank-you 🙂
