We are traveling to Italy in October and want to take a scenic train ride into Switzerland. Perhaps the Berliner Express.

We are trying to figure out where to stay to make this a day trip. We could stay in Lugano…or Bellagio.

It would be great to be able to do this all in one day. There are trips out of Milan that are round trip in one day, I like the idea of going as far as St Moritz.

    Would appreciate advice.

    thanks

    Annette.
