    Hey!

Me and a fried of mine are planning to go to Switzerland next week and are planning to wild camp.

After some research I understand it’s only allowed above the tree-line and away from other campsites,…

But I also read it depends on certain regions in the country. I have heard there should be a map which indicates where it is and isn’t allowed to wild camp. However I’m not able to find it. Can somebody help me with this?

    Hi Char,

    Welcome to MySwissAlps.

You can find information about wild camping here: https://www.myswissalps.com/accommodation/camping/wild/. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page you’ll find a list of links under Other Websites of Interest. Click on the Swiss Alpine Club link. There should be a map there, however the page is in German.

    Hope this helps.

    Regards,

    Anna
