1st class Bernina Express with Swiss Travel Pass

    Hello. I have a paid reservation in 1st class on the Bernina Express. Do I also need to purchase a 1st class Swiss Travel Pass also or will 2nd class work since I paid for a 1st class reservation?

    Hi Michaell,

    if you would like to travel 1st class you need a 1st class Swiss Travel Pass and a 1st class seat reservation in the case of the Bernina Express. You can buy your 1st class Swiss Travel Pass here: http://www.myswissalps.com/swisstravelpass/price.

    Your other option is that you have a 2nd class Swiss Travel Pass and you upgrade it for that day. You can do this at any ticket office at the train stations.
