2 days in Lucerne, which travel card?

Hi all, I need advise on how to travel for my 2 days Lucern trip. We will be arrive in Lucern on 29Apr16 and settle down nearby the train station. 29Apr16 wish to travel around Lucern, 30Apr16 will be Mount Pilatus. But I really no idea how to travel, wish someone can advise for a details guidance and which travel card more suitable for us, thanks!

Thanks for your fast response!

Can I check with you the cogwheel train in operation during my visit? (29-30 Apr 16) If not, what other option available for us to travel to the peak of Mount Pilatus?

Hi Sharon,

The cogwheel train won't work until May, unless the weather is very good and they decide to open earlier. Don't count on that though. The cable car will be available so that's the way to go.
