On way back from Montreal to India, we (6 persons) shall break journey at Zurich for 2 days.
We shall land at Zurich at 06-30 hrs on 27th May 2011 and shall take flight to India at 12-30 hrs on 29th May 2011.
We have already booked hotel in Zurich for stay.
Please suggest the Tourist places in switzerland which can be covered by us.
Can we see Mt. Titlis and Jungfrau?
How to proceed/visit these places? Should we take package tours- which ones OR TRAIN PASS-which ones etc?
Regards

Hello Rajesh, and welcome. There's a lot to see and do within Zurich (the lake, museums, parks, etc.). You can make day trips as well though. Titlis and Jungfraujoch are doable, but especially the Jungfraujoch requires quite a long train journey. Please enter your departure station (Zurich) and arrival stations (Jungfraujoch and Kleintitlis) in the timetable for exact connections and traveling times.

I would advise not to pre-book these tickets or use package tours. If you buy tickets on the spot right before boarding, you can adapt your plans according to weather circumstances. If you plan to make trips to the Titlis and the Jungfraujoch, a Swiss Half Fare Card would come in handy. If you decide to stay within Zurich and its immediate surroundings, you should consider the ZurichCARD.
