4 day trip from munich to Switzerland

    Hallo,

    I am interested to travel to swiss from munich in may last week.
    I am maily interested to spend 3 days in Luzern and interlaken and a day in glacier express. Can you please give me some tips for.

    1. Which places to see in Luzern and interlaken (jungfrau, titlis, pilatus)

    2. Boat trip in and around abouve places.

    3. Is it possible to have accomidation at one place and tarvel to above places.

    Hello babu17. Lucerne and Interlaken can be combined very well. Staying in one of these towns and traveling to several destinations is an option too. Titlis and Pilatus can best be reached from Lucerne; the Jungfraujoch from Interlaken. Did you use the timetable to check traveling times and plan your trips? It will certainly help you make a doable itinerary. The BLS website (for boat trips on lake Brienz and lake Thun), the Lake Lucerne website and the Bernese Oberland day trip overview will be of help too. You may also want to take a look at the Lucerne and Interlaken hotel pages.

    As for the Glacier Express: that’s between St. Moritz and Zermatt, which are both quite far from Interlaken and Lucerne. You may have to spend an extra day on this route if you definitely want to do it.

    Thanks for the reply Annika.

    Can you tell me the approximate time taken for round trip from luzern to pilatus.

    on my 1st day I will be reaching Chur around 13 noon and I am not able to decide what can I do for the rest of the day
    What are the suggested places to see in and around chur.
    My 2nd day will be in glacier express from chur to zermatt.
    3rd day in interlaken
    4th day in luzern and return to munich.

    Hello babu17. A single trip Lucerne-Pilatus takes about 1 hour, taking the shortest route via Kriens. Please use the Pilatus website and the general timetable to plan such trips. The Chur tourism website lists sightseeing tips. You may like a guided city tour or a visit to one of the museums.
