6 days Swiss Travel Pass

Hello,

We are first time travellers to Switzerland. Can you please advise as to which is the best swiss pass to take? Is a half fare better or and 4 day swiss pass? or an 8 day swiss pass the best option.

We will be travelling around for 6 days, please see below

Itinerary: [Zurich - Lucerne - Engelberg - Interlaken - Zurich]

Day 1: Zurich Airport to Lucerne ( overnight stay at Lucerne)

Day 2: Lucerne to Engelberg (mountain trip) (overnight stay in Engelberg)

Day 3: Engelberg to Interlaken

Day 4: Interlaken (mountain trip)

Day 5: Interlaken to Zurich (overnight stay in Zurich)

Day 6: Zurich to Zurich Airport

In your case, a Swiss Half Fare Card makes sense. You'll be making short trips mostly, and that's where a Swiss Half Fare Card comes in handy. A 4 day Swiss Travel Pass would require you to buy an additional ticket for day 1, and an 8 day Swiss Travel Pass would be a bit too much for your 6 day stay.
