We are travelling from Paris to Spiez with the TGV Lyria in september 2015. We have a base in Erlenbach im Simmental, a small village near Spiez. We would be frequently travelling towards Interlaken & back covering multiple places like Jungfrou, Lauterbrunne etc on multipel days. Please recommend a pass which would help us travel freely between the village of Simmental to other places including Lucerne as well & also give us free rides on mountain excursions on cable cars, trains etc.

Hello vivekr,

Welcome to MySwissAlps. You definitely need Regional-Passes Bernese Oberland. Please see myswissalps.com/region alpassberneseoberland for all details.

Nice location.

Don't forget that you can go in the other direction...to Montreux, for example.

Or, down to Spiez then up through the Kandertal on the Lötschberger ( old route) to Brig and return.
