Another option is to look for two apartments in same or nearby chalets. For example, Chalet Brunner (booked through wengenapartments.com) has several 2 bedroom apartments plus a stunning 3 bedroom penthouse.

Hello GoGiantsfan,
In the past I have even rented out two chalets near each other when I organized a vacation for friends when they visited Switzerland. Perhaps that might be something to consider, if you already found a newer chalet that you and your friends like. It might be easier to find another 1 bedroom accomodation for the other couple that is joining instead of a 4 bedroom chalet.
I hope this helps!
Best wishes,
Suzanne

Thanks Kim and Suzanne,
Kim I will look at what you posted to see if there is anything.
The one I was planning on booking was beyulapartments.com/room/amber/ this 3 bedroom. Location looked right next to town. Will try to look for a 1 bedroom maybe near it. There looks to be a two bedroom which looks very nice right next door I think from what I can tell: http://beyulapartments.com/room/bernstein/ . Just a couple others in my group rather not pay the higher price for Bernstein. So still working on it. Thanks.. any other suggestions would be great..

Hello GoGiantsfan,
The “amber” apartment looks great! I am sure you will find a place that will satisfy the needs of everyone. Please let me know on this thread what you find, I would be interested. In the meanwhile, I wish you lots of luck in your planning! I am sure there will be other members that can chime in on other suggestions.
I wish you all the best for 2020!
Best regards,
Suzanne

Hi GoGiantsFan
The Abendrot Apartments in Grindelwald have apartments to accommodate up to eight guests. They are on the main street near the First cable car station and are very nice.

I was really impressed by this hotel/apt owner in Grindelwald; most of the chalets and the hotel close to First:

Grindelwald is small, but these units are just out of town, all with views of the famous three peaks from the foothills. Stunning locations. Setting is almost Gstaad like but steeper rolling hills.
