I have searched for the answer to my question without success.

1. I am buying the Swiss Travel Pass and cannot figure out how to reserve seats on the bus from Lugano to Tirano or the train to St Moritz as I know my STP will cover the tickets but not the reservations. One official Rheatische site says no reservations are possible on the train portion of this trip.

2. Same question for the Glacier express....how to reserve seat when you have the pass?

3. My trip is in September 12....how early can you buy the passes and reserve seats?

Many thanks Danieljason

Hi Danieljason, welcome to MySwissAlps!

1. You can book seats through the links on myswissalps.com/ berninaexpress/ tickets.

2. Please see myswissalps.com/ glacierexpress/ tickets.

3. You can already do so now. All pass purchase options can be found on myswissalps.com/ swisstravelpass/ price. The easiest way is to visit www.swissrailways.com/ en. After filling out your address, they will show the delivery options. Pick "Online Ticket" from the bottom of the list. They will e-mail the pass (no delivery fees), so you can print it at home.
