    Hi,

My itinerary for Switzerland is as follows:

Day 1-2: Staying at Lucerne (flying in from Zurich)

Day 3-6: Staying at Wengen to explore the mountains and then flying out from Geneva

Just wondering without doing detailed calculations on the rail costs, which rail pass would suit me best:

    1. The half price pass for the duration

    2. The Jungfra Travel Pass for the days I’m at Wengen combined with single tickets to every where else or possibly another pass?

    3. The Bernese Oberland Region pass for 4 or 6 days?

I’m overwhelmed with the choices.. haha..

    Thanks in advance,

Hi Pizzashapes and welcome to MySwissAlps!

Unfortunately there is no way to know which rail pass is best for your itinerary without figuring out all your trips and doing details calculations – How to choose the best rail pass (with spreadsheet to help).

If you don’t / can’t be bothered (I can’t blame you) Then buy an 8 day Swiss Travel Pass and rest easy that if it isn’t quite the cheapest choice for your itinerary it is the simplest. 🙂
